Snow muffled silence
Weighs on my ears.
Although my eyes are closed,
I feel the never-ending expanse of soft clouds
Continuing on to the horizon.
My mountain peak sits
Nestled in with only the highest of clouds as company,
Where the cold air can prick at my skin.
For me, this does not matter
Because the Sun floods my body with warmth.
A cloud breezes through me,
Water beading on my skin.
As the cloud passes, so do those sensations,
the glistening droplets on my body evaporating into nothing.
True peace can be found
In this world of my own
And I bask in the warmth
Of my mountain peak.
This is beautiful.
